LoCo Science Web Order Return Policy

The Broad Strokes:

  • All Sales Are Final!
  • Any product replacements, returns, or refunds are at the sole discretion of LoCo Science or our affiliate 3rd Party Manufacturers and may result in a restocking fee of up to 25%.
  • Any authorized replacement, return, or refund does not negate this policy.

More Specifically:

LoCo Science sells goods which can be generally placed into three categories.  These categories have different policies as outlined below.

LoCo Science Items

  • Returns of $249 or less may be made within 30 days of purchase with no restocking fee.
  • Return of $250 or more may be made within 30 days of purchase with 25% restocking fee.
  • Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs unless due to LoCo Science error or defective part.

3rd Party Products (Non-Consumables)

  • Sales of 3rd Party Non-Stocked products are considered final.
  • If a customer wishes to return a 3rd party item, LoCo Science will contact the manufacturer on the customer's behalf for approval.  If approved, the item will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • All items must be in new and unused condition to be eligible for return.  Customer is responsible for all return freight.
  • LoCo Science is an authorized reseller of each item on our site. Our buyers receive the full manufacturer’s warranty on their purchase.  All warranty registration/support/exchanges must be obtained by the customer directly from the manufacturer.

3rd Party Products (Consumables) 

  • Returns/Exchanges may be made within 30 days from date of purchase and will incur a 25% restocking fee.  Buyer is responsible for all return freight costs.
  • No consumable item will be considered for return or exchange if the outer packaging has been opened or damaged in any way. No exceptions.

Upon receiving your item we will inspect it to ensure compliance with our return policy.  You will receive an email with our decision as to whether or not your return is approved.

Upon approval a refund will be immediately issued via your original payment method and you will receive email notification from us of your return status.  This credit may take several days to reflect on your account.   Please be patient!  After we send the refund the rest of this process is out of our control.


To return your product, you should mail your product to: LoCo Science, 3990 Broadway, Eureka, CA, 95503, United States.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the reason for return is error on our part. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you request a prepaid return label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot be responsible for items which are lost in shipment!!
