Description
Apiezon PFPE 501 grease is a great lubricant due to its chemical inertness and high temperature capabilities.
Typically used in extreme environments for sealing and lubricating, this grease has a vapor pressure of vapour pressure of 1.3 x 10-12 at 25°C and an operating temperature of 250°C. The PFPE 501 Grease can be used even where aggressive chemicals and strong oxidizing agents are routinely used.
This grease also maintains a H1 food grade certification from NSF International, an independent, global organization that certifies food service equipment and supplies in the industry. An H1 food grade certification confirms that PFPE 501 grease is safe for use in the food production chain where accidental food contact may occur. This certification by NSF requires that in the final product content may not exceed 10 parts per million.
