KF clamps, also called QC (quick connect) or QF (quick flange) clamps, hold two KF flanges together around a centering ring to make a sealed vacuum joint. They're used on every KF connection, from gauge ports and valves to vacuum pump lines and chambers. LoCo Science carries KF clamps in KF-10, KF-16, KF-25, KF-40 and KF-50, each in 304 stainless steel and aluminum. Every clamp is engraved with its size and sold as a set with a 304 stainless centering ring and Viton gasket in the package.
Which KF clamp do I need?
- Find your flange size: Measure the outside diameter of your flange and compare it to our KF flange size chart, or check the size marked on your equipment.
- Join two flanges: One clamp and centering ring set of the same size per joint.
- Choose a material: 304 stainless steel or aluminum, in every size.
- Replace a worn centering ring: Spare rings are on the KF Centering Rings page.
Frequently asked questions
Do LoCo's KF clamps come with a centering ring?
Yes. Every LoCo KF clamp is sold as a set with one centering ring of the same size.
Do KF-10 and KF-16 use the same clamp?
KF-10 and KF-16 clamps are identical in size. We sell them separately, each engraved with its size, and each comes with its own size of centering ring.
Is a KF clamp the same as an NW or QF clamp?
Yes. KF, NW and QF are different names for the same flange system, so a KF clamp fits flanges labeled any of these ways.
