A KF tee splits one vacuum line into two, or adds a port to a line for a gauge, valve or vent. LoCo Science carries 304 stainless steel tees in KF-16, KF-25, KF-40 and KF-50, plus reduced tees that add a smaller port to a larger line: KF-25 with a KF-16 port, KF-40 with a KF-16 port, and KF-40 with a KF-25 port.
Which KF tee do I need?
- Find your flange size: Measure the outside diameter of your flange and compare it to our KF flange size chart, or check the size marked on your equipment.
- Split a line or add a same-size port: Use an equal tee: all three flanges are the same size.
- Add a smaller port to a larger line: Use a reduced tee.
- Connect it: Each flange on a tee needs one clamp and centering ring set of the same size.
