KF-40 bellows are flexible 304 stainless steel vacuum hoses with a KF-40 (NW40) flange on each end. They are used to connect pumps, chambers and fittings that don't line up exactly, and to reduce vibration between a pump and the rest of the system. LoCo Science carries KF-40 bellows in five lengths, 100 mm to 2500 mm, measured flange to flange. Each one is helium leak tested for maximum performance.
Which KF-40 bellows do I need?
- Bridge a short gap or small misalignment: 100 mm or 300 mm.
- Make a longer run: 500 mm, 1000 mm or 2500 mm.
- Connect each end: One KF-40 clamp and centering ring set per end, so two per bellows.
- Need a different flange size?: KF-16, KF-25 and KF-50 bellows are on the KF Bellows page.
